After BNSF #688 leads a northbound merchandise train across Caliente Creek, at milepost 329.0, just south of Bena.  Note that the line is now single track, quite a bottleneck for a line that can see as many as 48 trains in a single day.  The Tehachapi line is the busiest single-track mainline in North America.
