Tijuana is a Mexican border a city that defies description and a place that I love to visit!  Join me on my Tijuana adventures, both in words and photos.  Click on a thumbnail that interests you, and it will open up to you a whole chapter about this fascinating city of nearly 1 million inhabitants.

An introduction to Tijuana, about this article, and a little bit about the author.

Are you curious about walking over the border?  How do you walk back?  Click here...

It's a pleasant walk of a little over a mile to Av. Revolucion, Tijuana's main shopping area.

If you plan to drive to south on Mexico Highway 1, ride with me across the border.

I explore Av. Revolucion, the area where tourists shop in downtown Tijuana.

I explore Tijuana's Zona Norte, engaging in one of my favorite pastimes:  Street photography.

I love to eat Mexican "street food" and you'll find write-ups and photos of "TJ" street food.

I spend an evening  in 2004 exploring Tijuana and take a wild taxi ride to the border.

I tour tour local neighborhoods where you won't see any gringos.

Have you ever heard of Las Playas de Tijuana, Tijuana's beaches?  Surfs up!

Before you take photos in the Zona Norte think twice, as I almost got arrested!

Explore the cultural heart of Tijuana with me as I tour the Zona Rio.

Parque Guerrero is only a few blocks from the crazieness of dowtown, yet world's away.

Visit some  of Tijuana's better known landmarks, and some of the lesser-known places.
