Oriental Express: Chinese cuisine in the Zona Norte! Features Chinese food, catered to the tastes of the locals, and one of the few Chinese restaurants in the area. Antojitos Mexicanos: Small loncheria, open only for breakfast and lunch, this restaurant serves delicious food, at attractive prices, unless you're a relative of the "health food police." Tacos de Birria de Res: Located on a busy corner in Tijuana's famous Zona Norte, this mother and son taco stand serves delicious stewed goat meat, served on corn tortillas, with all of the garnishes. Restaurant La Jaibita de Jocelyn: Small, family owned and operated restaurant, this place features very friendly staff, delicious food, and a full-service menu. Rico's Tacos: Small, sidewalk, street taco vendor, Rico's Tacos has been in the same location for over 40 years, and serves delicious carne asada tacos to hundreds of hungry customers every day. Pollos Asados el Carbón: Features chicken grilled over mesquite coals, delicious rice, beans, beans and freshly-made salsa on the side, for under $3.00 U.S. dollars. Plus, you get a picture-perfect view of the activites in Tijuana's famous Zona Norte for free while you dine! Rosticeria Chico Pollo: Fried chicken, Tijuana-style, complete with friendly service, comforatable dining, refried beans, rice and macaroni salad, for the small price of only MEX $28.00, in Tijuana's Zona Norte. Kentucky Fried Buches: Truly a one-of-a-kind eatery, only to be found in Tijuana, this small restaurant serves chicken neck tacos, with corn tortillas, and some of the best salsa that you've ever eaten. Tacos El Taconazo: Small taco stand, located on the sidewalk near a busy street corners, El Tacanazo serves delicious carne asada tortas, and much more, at very reasonable prices... Tacos Barios: Small, no-nonsence taco cart north of the main tourist zone, this cart is operated by one shy girl, and serves delicious tacos, that contain a huge surprise! Loncheria Evelin: Located west of the famous Zona Norte along Articulo 123, Loncheria Evelin is family owned and operated, and serves delicious carne asada tacos. Pierna de Pollo: If you're in the Zona Norte, and you're in the mood for a delicious, bargain-priced lunch, check out Pierna de Pollo and enjoy a chicken leg, beans, tortillas, cabbage and salsa verde for less than a couple of bucks. Birria de Res: This is a familiar taco stand in the Zona Norte that I paid visit to a couple of years ago, yet I couldn't resist a visit, as I learned the puesto was under new management! Hot Dogs: Sort of a "no name" hot dog vendor, who sets his hot dog cart up under Tijuana's famous arch, this guy serves true Tijuana-style hot dogs, that will make you crave for more. The best part: One dollar each! Sabrosos Elotes Y Vasitos: Boiled corn on the cob, sold from a push cart by the friendly "Corn Guy." Mariscos Quina: This small, very friendly restaurant specilizes in mariscos, but they serve full-service lunches, complete with fish soup, corn tortillas and delcious fish tacos.
