Bienveniedos a Reynosa!  In October, 2003, my wife, Sharlene and I, along with our friends Jerry and Edna, spent almost a full day walking around downtown Reynosa , and getting to know the town.  Now, come visit this lively and fascinating city with us!

Click on the tumbnail of choice to read more about the captioned article.  You can start wherever you choose, as each group tells a story.  Enjoy  what is probably the most extensive collection of photos and articles about Reynosa published on the worldwide web!

We arrive at downtown Reynosa and take a walking
tour of the city.

Reynosa has many food vendors that sell delicious street food, but also many fine restaurants.

Reynosa is a shopper's
paradise, so we sightsee
and shop El Centro.

I'm fascinated by Mexican
street vendors.  Lots of digital
photos of Reynosa's vendors.

Reynosa, like most cities in
in Mexico, has a town square with a park.

Christmas, 2003, is celebrated in style in Reynosa's bandstand.

Reynosa has received some bad gringo press, due to the war on drugs along the U.S./Mexico border.  If you're not a drug dealer or user, Reynosa iis a beautiful city and a very interesting and desirable place to visit.  Click on this link to read about some of the recent drug troubles in Reynosa, and the state of Tamaulipas.  If you're interested in the text article of our visit, in early October, 2003, click on this link.
