On Thursday, September 29, 2006, we had the opportunity to visit the small town of Llera de Canales, which proudly bills itself as "Linda Naturaleza," or natural beauty, which is a good way to describe the area where the town is situated, and the town itself. We spent quite a bit of time exploring interesting things around the town, so clink on the hyperlink of choice to relive one of our adventures with us. Thursday night at Llera de Canales: After checking in to our hotel room, we took a stroll around town, to visit Llera de Canales at night. Llera de Canales: When morning arrives, the town takes on a whole new look, as we hike around and explore the town. Hotel Guanajuato: We stay a night in a bargain room for three, and survive a very interesting hotel experience, most likely, quite unique to Llera de Canales. Restaurants: Llera de Canales is a small town, yet it offers many interesting and dining experiences. Muebles Rusticas Rustic Furniture: We visit a local factory that makes rustic furniture from the bare essentials. We get a tour and the chance to soot lots of digital photos of the operation. Sierra Madre Oriental: We take a road trip through the scenic Sierra Madre Oriental Mountans, and stop at a couple of mango juice stands on the way to Cd. Mante.
