Food can be found along Highway 85, between the town of Llera de Canales, and the small city of Cd. Mante, in the form of many roadside vendors, that cater to the need of the travellers along the highway.  During our visit on September 29, 2006, we had the opportunity to stop at a couple of roadside vendors and enjoy the local cusine, and the wonderful atnosphere.

Huerta La Jungla:  Offers sandwiches, snacks, popcorn, mango pie, and delciious drinks made from mangos, grown in the orchard in back of the restaurant.

Felipe Angeles:  What's in a name, as this business doesn't have a sign, but that doesn't stop them from selling motor oil, bagged nuts, bananas, sugar cane, mangos and a whole lot more.  Check out their adorable pig!
