Sonoyta, Sonora isn't known for fancy restaurants, as I couldn't find any restaurants above the two-star level. However, if your tastes are similar to mine, and you like small taco stands and street vendors, then Sonoyta just might be your place to dine. Click on the desired link below to relive a dining experience that I've enjoyed in beautiful Sonoyta, Sonora. Truck Stop Taco Stand: Serving delicious tacos de cabeza and menudo, this small taco stand is located along Highway 2, on the east side of Sonoyta. Don Tiki Tacos : Rico serves delicious tacos de carne asada out of a custom fabricated tacos truck, based on a 1970's Ford F-250 truck chassis. Taquería Los Memos: If you love carne asada tortas and quesidillas, cooked over a mesquite fire, this place is for you, as they make one of the best carne asada tortas that I've ever had the pleasure to eat. Taquería Doña: Located in the heart of the commerical district of Sonoyta, this family owned restaurant serves delicious tacos de birria, tamales and much more... Hot Dog Estilo Hermosillo: This mom and pop business, located in front of their house along Av. Altar, serves Hermosillo-style hot dogs, which includes ground beef, and all of the condiments! Taquería El Bueno: This husband and wife operation is unique, in that they are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and they serve delicious carne asada tacos and tacos de tripa. Rico's Taquería: Rico's is a full-service taquería, but I din't stop for their tacos, as I had Sonora-style hot dogs on my mind, and I wasn't disappointed! Rico Mac Taco: Located at a busy intersection, just north of downtown, this breakfast-only taco stand serves delicious tacos de cabeza, and a lot more...
