During my brief visit to the beautiful desert city of Caborca, Sonora, Mexico, I had the opportunity to dine at a couple of locally owned and operated taquerías, with one specializing in birría de res, and another small roadside stand that featured mariscos.  Click on the link of choice to relieve my Caborca dining experience.

Taquería "El Gaby:"  Located on Calle Alvaro Obregón, this restaurant specilized in tacos de birría, despite the fact that they advertise other dishes for sale.  Very friendly, English-speaking owner/operator.

Mariscos "Guaymas:"  This small restaurant, which specilizes in mariscos, operates from a house that doubles a s a small restaurant, and is located a block north of the main intersection of Federal Highway 2, and Sonora State Highway 37,  along the dusty shoulder of highway 2, just north of the main intersection.
