At Hawthorne, Nevada, near the munitions depot, there is a very unusual crop growing near the highway.  It's also a very patriotic crop, as the "plants" are arranged neatly and alternate between red, white and blue.  We wonder how this came to be, but we assume some shrapnel from the nearby depot managed to fall from the sky and grow into these lovely plants.

To some, it must be a "field of dreams," but the sad reality of it, is that it's really a field of bombs.  However this crop came to be, it makes a splendid addition to eRench Production's American Graffiti page.
