Now wait just a minute...  I'm a firm believer in health and cleaniness, especially when you have to share facilities with a host of other folks.  When I swim in a public pool, I don't mind taking a shower before getting in the water, and if I have a runny nose, the flu or anything like that, well, I'll save my bathing for another day.  On that same line of thought, I woldn't enter the water if I was sporting any band-aids, let alone open wounds, nor would I care to swim in a pool if I saw others in that same condition.  It's just common sense and common decency.

However, common decency can be taken to the extreme, as is the case in at this pool at Campway, in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Read the sign carefully and decide for yourself if you want to swim in this pool.  I don't think I care to even stick my big toe in the water of this pool!

Maybe I'm too liberal, or I perhaps have lived in California for too long, but don't you think these rules are a little too strict and perhaps a bit draconian?  This pool is located at a Thousand Trails Campground near Lincoln, Nebraska, and I have to admit, this sign carries the most dire warning that I've ever seen posted for a swimming pool.

I think I'll pass on swimming in this pool!  I really don't want to offend anybody...
