SS Minnow:  A refuge of the television show Gilligan's Island, Minnow is for sale and beached, near the town of Tehachapi.

United Rentals:  Is this an office building, or a D-6 made for giants?  You decide...

Sonora's Tin Man:  From the Land of Oz, Mr. Tin Man spends his days supporting a bevy of mailboxes.

World's Tallest Thermometor:  The small desert town of Baker hosts a giant thermometor, reported to be the world's tallest.

Buttonwillow Steer:  This big guy, in Buttonwillow, California, puts all of the steers in Texas to shame.
