High Desert Roundup: This CA4WDC event is held each Memorial Day weekend in Stoddard Valley, near Barstow, CA, and features exciting four wheeling, great food, and lots of fun, in the beautiful Mojave Desert. Panamint Valley Days: This CA4WDC event is held the second weekend of November, and offers great four wheeling, breathtaking scenery and great food. Inyo Mountains: Inyo has it all, including rugged terrain, beautiful scenery, and lots of solitude. One of the best-kept four wheeling secrets in California. Sierra Nevada Mountains: I've lived close to the Sierra Nevadas for most of my life, and the Sierras feature some of the best four wheeling that California has to offer. Mono Mountains: Located in Northern California and Nevada, these mountains feature lots of ghost towns, old mining operations, and rugged scenery, and are definitely off the beaten track. Nevada: I could spend the rest of my life four wheeling in the Silver State and I'd probably only get a chance to run each trail once.
