I consider myself fortunate to live only minutes away from the majestic Sierra Nevada mountain range, home to the famous Rubicon Trail and many other exciting trails. Jenkins Hill: Easy, scenic hill, located on the north side of the Merced River, near the western boundry of Yosemite National Park. Hite Cove: We go down, down, and down some more to explore Hite Cove, site of an old mining operation, and get close... Rubicon Trail: My friend Jonathan Dolan and I tackle the world-famous Rubicon trail in his awesome TJ. Monache Meadows: Have you ever heard of Monache Meadows, which was once the largest meadow in the Sierras? At least it was, before the sheep destroyed it. Tahoe National Forest Loop: I make a loop trip through parts of the Tahoe National Forest, including Robinson Flat and Jackson Meadows. Kingsburg Snow Run: Back in March, 1995, we enjoyed four wheeling in the snowy Sierra National Forest with the Kingsburg Fourwheel Drive Club. Around Jerseydale: Four wheeling in the Sierra National Forest, as we explore Sweetwater Mine, Clyde's Cabin and climb to the summit of Felicianna Mountain. Copyright(c) 2010 eRench Productions, Inc.
