August 18th to 21st, 2006 found me four wheeling in remote western Nevada in the Sweetwater Mountains, the Pine Grove Hills, and in beautiful Mineral County, near the once-impressive town of Aurora.  Click on the thumbnail of choice to experience western Nevada four wheeling at its best.  Oh yes, if you're wondering what to eat, check out the section on my four wheeling cooking, as I prepare gourmet meals on the trail...

August 18, 2006:  Have you ever heard of Silverado Canyon, Star City, or Boulder Flat?

August 19, 2006:  Four wheeling to the ghost town of Rockland, via Nye and Dead Ox Canyons.

August 19, 2006:  The easy trail to the ghost town of Pine Grove, Nevada.

August 20, 2006:  I four wheel the old stage route from Aurora, Nevada to Bodie, California.

August 21, 2006:  Not exactly four wheeling in Nevada, I offer a tour of historic Bodie.
