High Desert Roundup, 2005, as with all CA4WDC events is as safe as you can get. You, or your family won't get hurt when your at High Desert Roundup or any other CA4WDC event, as safety is the norm and brotherhood among four wheelers is the standard. Left: Safety check at Hi Desert Roundup, 2005. Right: Going over the list of safety requirements before the check begins. OK, to participate on the HDR trail runs, or any other CA4WDC-sanctioned events, you must have the following equipment on your rig:
The San Diego 4 Wheelers have been hosting the safety check for many years, and these guys will greet you with a smile, as typical in all CA4WDC events. Lift up your hood, open your toolbox and say "hi" to these guys. Safety is an important part of trail runs. Remember CA4WDC runs emphasise three things: 1) Family fun 2) Safety 3) Environmentally-friendly four wheeling. Did I emphasise fun a second time? Left: Opening the hood to check the condition of the battery hold-downs. Right: Check completed, shake the hand of the friendly safety checker, final sign-off, and you're on your way! Shake the hands of the San Diego 4 Wheelers, as they're helping to promote safe, family-oriented, environment-friendly four wheeling fun in California's beautiful Mojave desert, at Hi Desert Round-Up.
