I've
been interested in radio all of my life, but for many crazy
reasons, I waited until the early 1980's to obtain my first
ham ticket, as N6MPM. I went from unlicensed to General
in one fell swoop, and then upgraded to Extra in 1985, and received
the call of WS6L, which I've held ever since. Click on
the link of interest to check out Amateur Radio Station, WS6L. WS6L Home Station: Take a peek into my shack at home, tucked away in my private den, off the living room of our house, and see the equipment that I use. WS6L Antenna Farm: Take a look at my modest, yet effective antenna farm, in my back yard. Ford F-250 Mobile: I have a complete ham shack in my truck, and am able to operate on most bands, in most modes, mobile or portable. Heck, my license plate even reads WS6L! Toyota Camry Mobile: I have a very modest 2-meter only setup in my daily driver, my 1996 Toyota Camry. WS6L Go-Bag: For mobile, portable and Emcomm uses, I maintain a "go bag" built around my FT-817ND, which is capable of operating on most of the bands and modes. Take a look inside my bag... WS6L... the dude: Meet Eric T. Rench, a.k.a., WS6L, and find a little bit more about me, and what facets of Amateur Radio interest me. Ham Radio Links: Links of interest to Amateur Radio Operators in the Sacramento Valley, and all over Northern California. Copyright(c) 2010 eRench Productions, Inc. All rights reserved.
