When you're visiting Rhyolite,  park your car, get out and walk, and enjoy the fabulous sights.  If you're visiting in the spring, you can't miss the wildflowers, or the wildlife that habitat the area.  Look at the mountains, check out the fantastic, rugged scenery and savor the fragerance of the sage.  Here's a map of downtown Rhyolite, circa 1909, thanks to Friends of Rhyolite.  Click on the link and enjoy their fantastic web site about everthything you ever wanted to know about Rhyolite.
