Memorial Day weekend, 2009, I camped with my two brothers and a friend at Jerseydale Campground, located in the Sierra National Forest, in beautiful Mariposa County.  We enjoyed the breathtaking mountain scenery, explored the area, and enjoyed some delicious camp cookin'  time spent around a cheery campfire.

Jerseydale Campground:  An introduction to this free campground, and a look at the camp that we set up for the weekend.

Camp Cooking:  Two dinners and a breakfast are illustrated... with a few tips on the methods we use to prepare delicious food, in rustic surroundings, in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Hite's Cove Trail:  We four wheel Hite's Cove Jeep Trail, and almost make the South Fork of the Merced River.

The Burma Road:  Actually, the official name is Bull Creek Road, but it's known to the locals as the Burma Road, as it switchbacks up the steep walls of the north side of the Merced River Canyon.

Jenkins Hill:  This is a short, easy climb up a hill that affords an excellent view of the Merced River Canyon, Half Dome, and Yosemite Valley
